Equity in Birth: Reimagining Maternal Care for Black Women

Despite advances in medicine, Black women continue to experience significantly higher rates of maternal mortality and pregnancy-related complications compared to other racial and ethnic groups.

This program will explore how maternal health intersects with overall women’s health, mental wellness, reproductive justice, and community support—while highlighting solutions that center equity, advocacy, and care.
